Software Testing Practice : SketchUp Pro
I am testing SketchUp Pro today, so I will create a sample of sketches of mockup that will work as an example of how I will use this application for this term's project.
After entering the application, I chose Architecture Millimeter from SketchUp Pro.
Using the Tape measure card, I measured the man's height standing in there as a practice of how to use this tool.
Then, I clicked on the Line card and draw a horizontal line by the green line and then another on the line by moving the cursor along the line.
Here, I erased the previous line by double-clicking and then right click and select erase to remove both the lines. In addition, I draw a rectangle by the red line by moving the cursor along the line.
I then used the Push/Pull card to pull the rectangle from any side created a rectangle box.
After creating the box, I draw another rectangle and pushed that inside the box and made a hole inside the box.
I draw a circle beside the rectangle box and then pull the circle to make a cylinder over here.
I learned how to view the whole scenario by using the Orbit card. Over here, using the mouse scroller, it can be zoomed in and out and if the mouse is moved slightly then, the side views can be seen.
I was instructed to make a cube over here so I made a square by using the Rectangle card and then pulled it upwards. To check if it was good, I moved the view.
I then was instructed to make a triangle over here so I made a triangle by using the Line card and then pulled it upwards. To check if it was good, I moved the view. But it was not equilateral so, I did it again by selecting the whole thing and clicked on erase and made it again.
Over here, the teacher asked us to make another equilateral triangle by using angles and perfect measurement of 1000 mm so I draw a line then changed the measurement by writing the measurement I wanted and chose the mid-point to draw another line and then joined the other points from the first line. After finishing that, I erased the mid-line and pulled the triangle and it was a perfect equilateral triangle.
I then made a drum over here by drawing a circle first and then pulling it upwards to make a cylinder. Moreover, I selected the whole thing and then right-clicked to make it a group so that I can move it as I want using the Move card. I made it aligned by using the Rotate card but it needs to be red in color to make it rotate so it is necessary to see the red plus points before rotating it. After this, a drum is made.
I started to make a chair here. I then made the surface by drawing a rectangle then pulled it upwards and I made a rectangle on the edge and double-clicked to copy it to paste it on the clear space to make the stands of the chair. After this, I made four of it and pulled it upwards and made each of them group so that it is easy to move them and place them on the each edge of the surface of the chair without dismantling their shapes. Moreover, for the back of the chair, I made another rectangle box and placed it on the back edge and made it aligned by using the rotate card. Therefore, the chair was ready but bigger than the man on the spot so I clicked on the Tools and selected Scale and decreased the size of the chair and moved it near the man to see if it is ok or not.

Well done fo posting this process - good work
