Demographics Research: Zainul Art Museum

While researching about the location for my project, I have found that Purbachal, Dhaka is the best place for the location. Besides that, this location has many visitors coming every weekend to look at the newly built projects going on there and also the natural spots attract people there. Moreover, this area has been rebuilt again for new projects, educational institutions, offices, residential area and tourist places. The Bangabandhu Tri Tower project will be one of the highlights of Purbachal New Town.

Dhaka International Trade Fair is a commercial event which takes place on first month of every new year and the location of this has been shifted to Purbachal from Agargaon  from this year because of the advantages of getting so many visitors, new bigger place and traffic free area from the main city. This fair gets both native and foreign visitors as the stalls present in there have products and sellers from all over the world such as Chinese, Turkish, Indian, Pakistani, Japanese, Russian and many more countries seller and this also attracts people to come and buy their products. The month-long Dhaka International Trade Fair attracted over 3.5 million visitors and generated about Tk 1 billion in sales. "This year, more people are interested in the fair. As he emphasised the importance of trade shows in exports, Commerce Minister of Bangladesh stated that participation had climbed by over 37% from the previous year.

In Bangladesh, the demographics of museum visitors are diverse, including people of all ages, socioeconomic statuses, and educational levels. But there is a clear pattern of people of all ages visiting museums. A third of visitors are young people and students, who have a strong interest in cultural and historical artefacts. About 40% of visitors are of working age, including professionals and people working in different professions. The remaining 30% is made up of senior people, retirees, and older individuals who value cultural heritage and seek development through museum visits. Due to Bangladesh's historical sites and artifacts, traveller's from all over the world also contribute to the visitor demographics. Both locals and foreign tourists who want to learn about and enjoy the nation's art, history, and cultural traditions flock to the museums as educational and recreational sites.

The marketing of museums is a high interaction service marketing in which there is a high level of customer interaction and a physical customer visit to the service facilities. As a result, the establishment's physical services, including its interior and exterior design, should be of the finest quality. The environment's surrounds should adhere to the standard. Understanding what visitors want and why they visit the museum—in other words, what qualities people expect from the museum—is crucial to creating effective marketing strategies for museums.

I would say that, if young generations are interested in visiting museum which shows that native people are still eager to visit and the foreign visitors too come to satisfy their quest.
