Primary and Secondary Research Exercise

In this exercise, we explored different patterns, textures and shapes for this research while going to different places. For primary research, we went to Vijay Patel Building And Queens Building. We took our sketchbooks, pencils and fine liners along with us.

Firstly, for primary research, we went to Vijay Patel Building and the landscape around it is really beautiful so, I tried to imagine my project site plan. Then we went inside the building every interior to take inspiration and sketch out some ideas for the project. I really sketched out the walking entry area seeing some of the landscape.

Lastly, we went to Queen's Building and the interior inside is mesmerizing without any limits. I really like it so, I clicked some pictures for future project inspiration as for this project, I can not use these ideas. After this, we went to the library and I chose one book from there for secondary research which is based on hotels and resorts near sea or beach. I liked the interior spaces of different space.

The books I have borrowed from the library is titled as H2O Architectures & Beach Hotels. The first book is about all the famous beach hotels and their interior designs around the world whereas the other book is about the same content but the concept design ideas is quite similar to my major project. 

This was a nice task to know different ways of researching for a particular project and I hope to learn more while doing this project.
